yesterday was a good time

It had been some days since she was in the company of Hekker, and really, the infrequent visits were something she was very well equipped to handle. Wouldn't be surprised if their one time event remained that way, after all, slaves were the beloved house pets of the men in these lands. Women like her were, at the best of times, annoyances to tolerate. A slight smile formed on the thought of that. Someone had to keep these men on their toes or a bad deal of complacency surely follows.

Sipping her tea, she reads the request she has written out to give to Hekker just one more time from top to bottom. Indeed, it will be an impressive scavenger hunt for these specific items if Hekker agrees. Something tells her, that, he seems to be very agreeable man, and so, she'll test the limits of just how much she can push to maybe, just maybe, allow one more woman to go home. If it takes one at a time over the course of time, then it will be worth it.

Telamaya felt comfortable and secure in the protection of the Tarnsman of Treve. They would protect her with everything they had. She takes comfort in that. Beyond these mountains, nothing but fear of the unknown and the vulnerability of loosing that comfort feeling of being safe. When Tarik told her to go to Turia with him, that scared her mor than anything in the world. For the amount of years she has been in Treve, she has been conditioned to live here. Training comes in all forms, and even though she had a Free status, she was still under the hand of the men, and given this freedom by a generosity that is a blessing each day. Loosing herself in this request, she now exhales a breath and considers it complete. This list didn't just happen over night, this took days of thought and effort. It was the most important thing she has ever had to write up.
