As a biologist I’ve been fortunate working on the discovery of a new species, it’s a milestone. A medical practitioner or researcher might hope about developing a cure or treatment for cancer through experimentation and other scientific research. Today an unlikely source has provided a unique opportunity to end a syndrome that affects millions of us and has been described as “terminal”.

Let’s hear it for the end of TDS and shout songs of praise from the Supremes:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpL1TTxffO0

All it takes now is an official declaration to end this horrible syndrome and one effective act of your official choice, a sexy seal team, lethal injection, or a bullet, though to be fair, you’d probably be able to get away with a small tactical nuke, or one heck of a standard payload. I think a duel at 10 paces has a certain romantic charm, knowing that one will turn at 3 paces and shoot. I can just imagine the look on their faces, one turning to the sound of the pistol going off, then going immobile with a look of “you missed me at that range????” and the other one looking to fire again whining about how single shot guns should be restricted to “emergency use only” displays in grade schools right beside a book of worship of your choice. Either way, the end of TDS will be a relief to millions, so you know it won’t take long to act and rid the world of this terrible syndrome…as long as it’s an official act of course.

This brings us to the milking the flag quizz for all it’s worth portion because what you just read is some imaginary TV news in a bar where a few friends talk is about something much more important, which way to fly the flag. This is all imaginary of course. It is confusing isn’t it? Stripes up or down? Stars to the flagpole or away from the flagpole? Stuck in the middle with you. Then goes the flag quizzing, of which by now you would think is a dead horse but before rigorous mortis sets in….

Sure there are countries that can fly their flag upside down but countries like Japan can get away with it, and you’d never know. Thing is though, officially speaking is that all countries fly their flags right side up…. or so you’d think. There is one country that officially flies its flag upside down, though I doubt that they are even aware of it, which makes this such a great and fantastic joke along with the quizz of course.

So what country officially flies it’s flag upside down??????

I’ll take a few guesses before I give up a clue.

    Have fun.

Come on polly, everyone knows that it's the trees that grow up and the leaves that fall down. Leaves just don't grow up that way.
It's a living thing and when it comes to gravity and up and down, plants are the experts at that, so the new animals on the block disrespecting plants that way do so at their own risk.
      ducks.

It's a leaf. There is no upside down nor upright to it.
The flag was designed to be just as it is, and I was part of the decision to chose that design ... along with every Elementary School student in Canada! LOL

Our flag is only flown upside down as a sign of extreme distress ... that's universal, despite some recent numb head actions.

Nobody's even guessing, what a stumper. Here's a clue as to what is right side up. Now see if you can guess the flag that is flown upside down.
