Do you unpack the minute you get to a hotel or drop everything and start exploring?

It depends on my mood, and how long my stay will be. Usually I just leave it in my case, like Delilah, though I might put my toiletries in the bathroom.

We rarely spend more than two nights in a hotel, and only unpack the essentials. For a cruise, we unpack and settle in on embarkation day, after lunch and before sailaway.

I never actually unpack when I go to a hotel. Always leave my clothes in my case.

It depends ...but I would say, not usually. If I'm in a hotel one night while travelling, I don't unpack at all...just my small overnight bag with toiletries and is about it....and my swimsuit if there's a pool.

Unpack. It takes less than 10 minutes, and gives me a chance to gather my thoughts and devise a plan of attack.

It really depends on where Iā€™m traveling.
