What's the longest vacation you ever took?
It was planned to be 2 or 3 weeks, but was a month because we got stranded due to a bridge washout.
We were lucky though because we were in a travel trailer well stocked.
my ex and i took 3 or 4 weeks once...mix of job hunting, visiting family and some real "vacation"...plus a convention...from one coast to the other and back...
21 days in Scotland, twice...2014 and 2022.The first time I scheduled the driving and sightseeing around 5 different highland games that I wanted to compete at. I really wanted to compete at Inveraray, because while that's a Campbell town, the best preserved MacNaughton castle is on Loch Fyne, and Inveraray is right there. In 2022 I went to sail in the national championships of the one-design class of the boat I have, but preceded that with visiting 3-4 places that I missed on the first trip.
i keep wanting to say it started in 2014 and still goingbut i'm guessing 6-7 weeks
Three weeks…through the Panama Canal with stops through Central America.
Vacation...just a little over a month
Work travel...a year
Three weeks driving around the western U.S. with five kids, staying with family in three different states. It was wonderful.
a MONTH volunteering as a dentist on a Kibbutz in Israel...worked 3 days a week, had 4 days off for myself
The two week trip to Hawaii when my brother got married.
