Yeah, it's a different response if we're asking about desks! LOL

I think one of the differences is we don't have a TV in the bedroom ...so don't really hang out there to need stuff...

nope, mine's ridiculous too. Mainly the packs of meds scattered around, cos if I don't see them I forget to take the darn things. Plus you never know when you may need a drink of water in the night, or some lip balm, or your phone!....LOL

i never removed MiLady Wife's meds and stuff when i moved into her space...so my few things are just pushed around the edges of hers...lots of clutter...but i can't see it when i'm in bed, so no problem...

i live in total clutter anyway...i call it "homey"...

I'm like {joselle} ...clutter disturbs me.
There are just 3 items on each bedside table.

Bedside table is neat and tidy - now my den desk? Dusty and cluttered, always. But it has a clear corner for the kitty to nap on.

The pile of books on my night table are not clutter, just an extension of my library, the books I am working on.

I totally understand vassh! (I hate moving too)
I don't like stuff I'm not using. I give it to someone who will. I look around me. Everything neat and being used too. I'm good. Thanks for understanding!

{joselle}, I am in the process of doing the same. Moving has caused me to examine if I truly need something versus am I simply holding on to the past by the fingernails. I've done remarkably job (if I do say so myself) dumping and donating things this time around. It really feels good to unclutter.

I'm sure others do, but then again, some have so much clutter that they don't know there is actually a beside table under the clutter.

It's not cluttered. I have precisely what I need on the nightstand. The fact that I can't see the top is purely coincidental.
