Its late Sunday night of what is our biannual cousins weekend with my fam. I am grateful for so many things this weekend. First ... I get to hug my many cousins of all ages .. And so much laughter. I also get closer time with my sister and brother in law which is missing. Of 20 of us, .five live in the Grand Strand of the USA ... Think kinda Myrtle Beach area (though I dont claim MB) .. Some play.golf, most of us beach during the day. various locals claim dinner (where those that don't beach join us) ... Tonight was mine ...I did a taco bar and it went over well. So many laughs and fun family stuff. If you can manage it, do the family stuff. Yes ... There are rifts ... Many get solved in this space. We take pictures, we laugh and recount stuff other are shocked by ...we hug and hug. I have a lot of anxiety but this year it melted away.

I am lucky but ... Do this. Spend time with family... My example ...we were looking at pictures of events and I was asked ... Wait why weren't you there?...I was coming out ... The grace they showed me brought me to tears. I know I am blessed ... But do it ... Have that big stupid reunion. Its so worth it!

    Lovely to see you! So glad you had such a great and loving weekend. I went over to see my daughter and son in law. I love spending time with them, and my grandson was over from New Zealand a few weeks back, and that was WONDERFUL! Haven't seen him since he was a little 10 year old. Now he's a 6'3" gangly rugby player, but oh, so sweet and gentle! We had such a wonderful few days, and now I'm waiting on WhatsApp pics of him and his mates in Venice.....grin
