I'll give a listen a little later. Curious about this...
Not just music. I drive a long distance once a month.
i loved listening to a book on the way and another on
the way back. The last few trips, I can tell it's an AI voice reading,
and it's just icky to me. No emotion, no nothing.I thought that was also resolved in the actors strike,
but maybe not.
There is also a lot of discussion about AI script writing. It was a factor in the writers' strike.I have heard some intentionally hilarious AI generated songs.
I am human-centric
It's going to be interesting to observe.
......."In January, researchers at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab found workplaces are adopting AI much more slowly than some had expected and feared. The report also said the majority of jobs previously identified as vulnerable to AI were not economically beneficial for employers to automate at that time.".....
This caught my eye:https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/23/tech/elon-musk-ai-your-job/index.html
You can't fool me. The lyrics of the first one were neither in French nor in Polish.:-)
i listened. they all felt soul-lessif i had not known they were AI , i would say it was like somebody who didn't make it in the music world and is now writing songs for very low budget movies
Support local, live music . . . !
Chat GP wrote the lyrics. The keywords I put in for the "piano" song were..."classical, piano, Chopin"and it gave me a pretty female vocal about how emotional piano playing is. Some of the male voice show some big distortion up high, but nowadays so many producers use auto-tune and other software to distort human voices that it doesn't stand out like it would have in 1980.
