What would you have for dinner if you could have any dinner you wanted?

I would have a shrimp bisque. a green salad and a bowl of frozen fruit (strawberries and white gtapes, maybe) and a cold, sparkling white wine. Oh my gosh, doesn't that sound good?

    What would you have?

We spent the whole day trying to take care of all the details...in spurts...because...pain...*i* think everything looks great...we'll see what the HOA says...

Baron Igor tried to "man" through some stuff and is now hurting a lot...and needs meds and alcohol...so i decided we'd stay home tonight...

i'm ordering Applebee's Cajun Chicken and Bourbon Shrimp for me...with Tomato Basil soup...it just sounded good...and garlicky green beans...

Pretzel with beer cheese to start for Baron Igor...and chicken tenders with mac & cheese...stuff that won't upset his system...

i've got Boston Cream Pie ice cream...or a variety of cheesecake slices...so it's still festive...and our back yard is nice...

i think we'll do the coast tomorrow and go to the hidden seafood place we found...late brunch or lunch...they have great fish & chips...and then maybe the Mexican place for supper...

we'll see how we feel in the morning...this is the third day i've pushed...and i'm due for a protest demonstration from my joints...

Ideal dinner? Gosh, I have so many favorites, it's difficult to choose one. It depends on the mood. If i'm in a casual mood, perhaps BBQ baby back ribs with mashed taters. Something more elegant, perhaps sauteed halibut with roasted green beans and potatoes.

Not forgetting dessert, i'll make coffee ice cream sandwiches. That goes for any dinner.

It’s been a while since I’ve made Peking Duck. C’mon over, it would be my motivation

It’s a labor of love, but worth every second

Dizzy Guy... I'm with you on the Peking Duck, but I'll pass on the Pad Thai! That would mess my GI system ALL up.

i once adored lobster thermador...but i suspect it's too rich for me now...

i'd have to think about my "ideal" dinner...sooo many options...and moods...

Baron Igor is taking me to a charming little Mexican restaurant tonight for my birthday...i think i may go for seafood...and they have a fascinating/delicious looking dessert item...with cinnamon tortillas, chocolate and ice cream...

i may get one glass of wine...but i'm driving...
