~ - Subject: *i've stayed in a couple of "swanky" old hotels with big names and reputations...which were great on service...but the rooms were kinda run-down...that "old hotel" smell..."closet" inside the front door for the staff to deliver your cleaned and pressed clothes...that kind...the flashiest was a mini-suite at the MGM Grand in Reno (talked them into an upgrade)...it was in the "High Roller" tower...on a weekday...off season...
the worst...hell...i've stayed in some that even the cockroaches ran in bunches because it was scary...
