Baron Igor and i made it to the clubhouse this morning...forgot my towel...and my water shoes...my new pool hat...and cold water bottle...forgot my metal "pool" cane, too...but at least i was in a suit with a cover-up...and a knit fedora...my hair on top is thin...i burn easily...

We walked around back to the pool...that's a long walk for me these days...then across the patio to the shower...just a pull-rope...but today it was warm for a change...

We did 10 minutes of walking in the water...then hung out for about 10...then walked another 10...getting out wasn't too bad...a bit tricky without the cane, though...

then i went to the "spa" and soaked in the hot water nearly to my neck for about 30 minutes...all of which went well...until i tried to get out of the spa...i couldn't get a grip on the metal rails to pull myself up...my knees wouldn't do it on their own...and i almost fell...i had to call for Baron Igor to help me get up the last 2 steps...

i'm thinking of buying some tape at a pool supply place and wrapping the rails myself...it's too much hassle to go through the HOA...and there's that old thing about it being easier to get forgiveness...

the walk back to the car seemed much longer than coming in...i was hobbling...and i barely made it back into the house before pulling off my suit and crawling into bed...

it's almost 9:30 now...Baron Igor and i had our online study group out on the patio (even though we couldn't find one of our 3 copies of the text)...and i ordered Philly cheesesteaks, garlic knots and chicken nuggets from Dominos...which we ate while the sun set and listening to Bardcore...Baron Igor started rearranging things in the garden for a while (mostly my gnomes...we have a hippy with a big blunt that looks like him...a hippy chick that resembles me...and an Elfis in the fancy Vegas garb...capelet and all)...but i eventually got too cold and came in...

i'm still unsteady...but i think all that really hot soaking helped (i can't get that much hot water in my tub to reach my neck...it barely reaches my tits...and that's not HOT)...

i think i'll try to go back tomorrow and do less...and maybe not do it at noon...LOL...even though we were the only ones there...it's not the hottest time...that's around 4:00...but the sun is most direct and i'll burn faster...

anyway...we got there and actually exercised...and i think i can do it again tomorrow...so that's something..,

LOL...i'm paying for it this morning...had to ask Baron Igor to find & bring my mug so i can have coffee...

How wonderful to be able to get your exercise in a pool. Exhilarating I am sure.

pool exercise is wonderful. It really helped me recover from an accident a few years back. I can't do hot tubs because it bottoms out my blood pressure. We just moved to a community with a lovely pool. Once I find the box with my swim suits, I can't wait to venture down there.

I hope you get up this morning feeling easier, and manage to make the pool again.

Just remember everything .. I'd love a pool to wander in.
