Ever since high school, my oldest friend and i had a tradition that i would send him something to do with "The Lusty Month of May" from Camelot. We both loved the show...could recite whole scenes...and after i moved away, he got to play Arthur.

One year i faxed a copy of the sheet music to his office...another, i played the recording into his message machine...that sort of thing...

Even though i've been talking about Beltane today, it didn't dawn on me that it was May Day until i was looking at stuff about my SS payment.

i finally remembered...and sent him a message...then Baron Igor sent one, too...a favorite line of his about going a-Maying...

my mind has been such a blur lately...including taking the pain-relief "stupid" pill...but i'm happy i remembered this on time...

Outdoor fucking begins today!

(so does our outdoor pool...but we're not likely to make it...it's rather cool)

Hope you had a really happy Beltane and May Day. Ours was at least blessed with a break in the rain during most of the daylight hours, and the little birds in the garden were certainly greeting it enthusiastically!

To many looky loo's in my area for the truely naked gardening cory{BI} ... but we had two Beltane fires today.

cait~...be careful of getting burned where the sun don't never shine...it can happen when you're kneeling and bent over...
