~ - Subject: *not me, but my husband. He read Jack London books when he was a young teen, and forever seeks out snow and wilderness. We don't have snow in our cities, so he heads up to the Australian mountains for a few weeks every winter to get his fix. One year we travelled to New York and he attempted some of the Adirondak peaks, but sadly the borrowed equipment he had was not suitable.
