everyone doing? I yanked some weeds and found strawberry plants that had jumped out of their boxes and blueberry plants loaded with tiny little green berries already!

The red raspberry, black cap and the unnamed bush should be crawling with bees and sounding like mini hives and I only saw 3-5 bees in each place.

I've been having the goddaughters and their Mom over on some Saturdays to work on small jewelry projects. They have come to love beads as much as I do.

As I was saying above, I'm trying to boho up my apartment with this and that. I need more color in here.

Been taking some Udemy courses, mostly writing-related.

Reading some Kindle Unlimited books, and I found a new true crime show I like. It's a series of documentaries on crimes that happen in small towns where you wouldn't think they would.

Right on vaash, no injuries is a good thing !
We have wall to wall clouds and it's in the low 70's. I need to go tidy up the garden at the end of the house but I just don't feel like it.

I have been trying to settle into the new place. Slow but sure. I'm literally down to the last box and hope to get that done today. I have a small desk that needs assembly but that isn't mission critical yet. The weekend brings graduation parties and then a bit of relaxation. I plan to make chicken piccata on Sunday. How's that for excitement?

we unloaded delivery boxes and sorted items to bins and then to the appropriate room...this was when all the pantry stuff came...lots of energy drinks and cans of soup, chili and such...

didn't get it all...but we worked until we'll be nearly immobile tomorrow...which, unfortunately, doesn't take much...we plan to finish up this part on Sunday or Monday...have shelves to put together too...

a bicycle cart came by...with a horn that sounds like a duck...Baron Igor got us some GORGEOUS chucks of watermelon with Mexican spices...very refreshing...

we wanted beer and hard cider...so i've got Grubhub going to 7-11 for drinks, snacks, pizza and ice cream...

tomorrow i'll deal with some of the light and soft...but awkward...things like (Temu)shirts that were delivered...i got some yarns, too...Joann's has been having a 40% off sale...and some are hard to find...won't use them for many months, but the discount was worth it...

Baron Igor has a small murder of crows that follow him around (he feeds them chips and stale croissants)...sounds like a monster's stomping on the metal porch roof...

He's started writing again...thank the gods...he'd write while i sorted things...then he'd do the heavy moving...even with the wagon it was tricky...then i'd read and critique what he'd written...

      i'm gonna get a little drunk and read...maybe The Vampire's Former Flame...it's by a favorite author...Kristen Painter...

$20,000 simple Interior restoration on a 1964 nomad station wagon started.

      Finishing up a $30,000 restoration on a 1969 Chevelle 396ss.

Bringing in a long lost friend on Monday to handle a $20,000 restoration on a 1940 Ford sedan delivery.

After the Chevelle gets done on Monday I put Rob back on the $50,000 1971 suburban truck conversion restoration in black leather.

I have a old 1490's viking chair to restore in a brown distressed leather for a guy now that leather has gotten here from Italy.

It goes on and on you see every day of the week 365 days a year.

I had a day off 12 years ago.

This is what I call "Retirement". 9 to 2, 7 days a week.

I probably yank weeds everyday LOL It's like a filler job whenever I go outside. Our strawberry patch is in a big cage to keep other animals from getting to the strawberries ...we've been getting a handful every day this week! There are little green tomatoes the size of marbles on several plants, and the sweet red pepper plant has a pepper the size of a golfball and several tinier ones!
