What's the fanciest hotel you've ever stayed at?

    What's the dingiest?

i've stayed in a couple of "swanky" old hotels with big names and reputations...which were great on service...but the rooms were kinda run-down...that "old hotel" smell..."closet" inside the front door for the staff to deliver your cleaned and pressed clothes...that kind...

the flashiest was a mini-suite at the MGM Grand in Reno (talked them into an upgrade)...it was in the "High Roller" tower...on a weekday...off season...

the worst...hell...i've stayed in some that even the cockroaches ran in bunches because it was scary...

Toss up between Ritz Carleton in Barcelona and Ritz Carleton in Palm Springs. Equally bougie.

Dingiest was the Disney Coronado Springs Resort. Our suite was an utter sh*thole.

I don't remember the name of it, but the worst was in Nassau. It wasn't much to look at, kind of dark and dull, and the restaurant was closed for remodeling. At least that's what the sign said. We weren't there long though and it didn't cost us anything so we didn't care. I'd won the trip from a local radio station and my best friend and I had a great time.

I don't know that it would be considered fancy but the nicest one I've ever stayed in was The Boulderado in Boulder, CO.

The best was The Conrad in London. A cruise ship was late due to storms and we were put up here. Swanky and thankfully quiet.

The worst, hmmmm, I stayed at a Best Western just outside Boston that left a lot to be desired.

The dingiest was in Chicago when there was a connecting flight glitch and they put us in a fleabag hotel until morning…don’t even know the name…
