In yesterday's post I said I might need to go back to the grocery store today, and sure enough, I did.

So I'm walking around doing my bit of shopping, and suddenly I hear what... honest to goodness...sounded like a seal, or sea lion or something. And it was LOUD! What. the. heck???

I turn a corner and see a guy waiting in a checkout lane with a woman I assume was his wife, and this...sound...is coming from her! She was laughing like crazy about something. I swear I've NEVER heard a sound like that coming from a human being before! Neither of them seemed too concerned so I guess they're used to it, but OMG!

A short time later I saw a couple of store employees in super-hero costumes. (I don't remember what the costumes were) No idea what that was about.

So that's been my Saturday so far. I hope you all have a strange, silly, funny, happy, lazy, whatever kind of Saturday you want!

Was the woman an alien?

not having a bad day...just achy due to a lot of chilly humidity...Baron Igor's hurting real bad...so i'm Designated Driver...

i've got a HUGE sweet potato to put in the oven before i take Baron Igor to his Saturday night game...

the only "house cleaning" i've done today is on the computer...and i intend to take the evening to read...just because i can...and i want to...

In Canada, this is Victoria Day weekend ...a long weekend with fireworks on Monday.
For me, it is "Get The Darn Gardening Done" weekend!
