I understand your frustration. As a lifelong person of faith, I hear you.But please try to remember that not all Christians fit the stereotype you paint. Don't toss us all into the same heap.
For example, I am a member of a church with about 1,500 others. We ate open and welcoming; and proudly declare it. We just finished with many activities related to LGBTQ+ Pride Month throughout June. Several on staff are openly gay.
The One who knows us the best, loves us the most. Our witness is a quiet one. In our view, evangelism is the act of one blind beggar telling another: "We know where bread is. Please, come sup with us."
