We've had ample rain; things are LUSH. Notice the Lilies near the porch, growing tall, like the sunflowers in the garden.

I've always like the song "Personality" by Lloyd Price, and when I see tall flowers I think "Verticality".

   smiles hello little Stella d'Oro They put on a long show. Dad had them flanking a little path leading up to some Hollyhocks. I think height wise they'd be perfect in front of some Peonies. They'd arrive as the Peonies waned and the backdrop would fall nicely into the golden mean.
