    I'm envious of Panurge and his grand estate, but I have my own garden of sorts in the backyard. I missed taking a photo of the azaleas and the forsythia, but i've now got time to tend to the flowers.

    Under the pine tree, the hydrangeas have done well. I need to clear some brush and trim the holly tree on the right, but the bloom is the best it's been in years.

    This is from the rose bush by the shed.

    This pink bloom is from a rose stalk I planted maybe 25 years ago. The next time I take photos you'll see how huge it has become.

    That bush I just mentioned has dwarfed this next rose bush which only has a few blooms, but they are spectacular every year.

    This is from the front of the house and I apologize, it's not a good photo. The phlox which is all over the front of the house is beginning to fade.

    There is one more rose bush that will bloom, it doesn't get quite the sun like the others, it's behind a fence. I'll have those photos when it bursts.
