   I wish everyone had someplace to go to watch - take that noise and craziness with them. It was so loud from 8pm to 11pm that we couldn't hear each other talking in our own home, nor could we hear the tv show's we were trying to watch.

   OK, now I have officially slipped into old lady cranky - but dang we had the stuff that is only to be shot OVER water all around us and we do not have a lake here.

   CQ, yeah but in NC we could only buy small stuff, not more than sparklers.. had to go to some fireworks event if you wanted to see any, or live close enough to an event..but that's not to say people didn't go out of state to buy the bigger stuff...i could sit outside and watch the show, and keep my dogs calm at the same time..

   but here in SC? and like i said it went on from 2pm til dark, by dark i guess they ran out...but You can't even see the big sky rockets in the daytime..just seemed pointless to me...buy yeah they buy in the city, and bring them out here to the county..forget the dogs, well not forget,,, but we have horses running scared to death out here..we only have a couple, but the people on the backside of the people that doing all the booming...have my guess 10 or more, i can only imagine..just would have been nice if that had waited til dark, like most sane people..horses would have been safe in the barn, and not out here running into fences..but yeah a night show would have been cool..
   but animal people, we think about the animals first..but these particular people do it when there's not a holiday..so there's that..too..

   son in law, had a mishap with one last night, a piece flew at him, popping him in the arm, leaving a welt, lol (i laugh, because he's an ahole)...he's fine, and the kids or no one else was hit, everyone is fine, the danger in it always makes me fear for the kids safety, you know but those babies wanna see those fireworks...

   hope everyone had a fun and safe night...

   i've got idiots here, been setting off fireworks since 2pm the hottest driest part of the day, in this heat..i think they are just asking to set the woods on fire..

   and i'm sitting here wishing they would blow a finger off, just so they would stop...not like you can see them in the daytime..smh..sc is one of the states where you can buy the big fireworks...we couldn't in nc..i see why now, people here are just so careless with them.
