Chat brings on a lot of games and a lot of non-truthsIt fosters an environment of Non-Trust
Chatters don't realize there are real people behind the key boards
"It is what it is. I haven't actually known him that long. But it would've been nice to know that he was trying to third wheel me. And something tells me, his girlfriend didn't know about me either."Shakes her head.
"I don't play those games."
I'm sorry you are going through that and experiencing that
I'm sorry to hear. It's always devasting to lose someone. Yes. We can be stupid at timesThe biggest devastation more hurtful than the losing is the ignoring. The non response
It happened to me recently. Someone I care for and loved over 7 years won't talk or respond or acknowledge me
It's heart-breaking
Windy GrassHopper -- IsabellaConnolly & ElijahO'Malley
Head sounds good
*sliding in*
"Feeling a little...used. One of my boy toys has a girlfriend. I just found out tonight. I told him we can be friends or nothing, and he didn't respond."Shrugs.
"He doesn't think it's a relationship when one person is entering into the other on a regular basis."
Sighs.
"Men are stupid sometimes."
The Windy GrassHopper Tavern and Inn
Elijah leaned in close, his breath warm against Isabella’s ear as he whispered softly."Let’s take this upstairs. I still have that room at the inn."
With a tender smile, he stood up, taking her glass alongside his own. He held out his arm, and she slid her hand into the crook of his elbow. Together, they moved gracefully through the tavern, drawing a few curious glances but mostly smiles from those who recognized the deep bond between them.
"This way, my love."
He led her up the side stairs, each step echoing softly in the quiet of the evening. As they reached the door to his room, Elijah paused, turning to look at Isabella, his eyes filled with love and gratitude.
"I’m so glad we have this time together."
Opening the door, he guided her inside, the room cozy and warmly lit by a few flickering candles. The familiar surroundings brought a sense of comfort and intimacy. Elijah set their glasses down on the small table by the window, the moonlight casting a gentle glow across the room, and that door would shut and a sounding clikc to the lock echoed down the hall.
