That these goblins were working with a human slaver, Marconus if I could make out the crest of the House on the side of one of the wagons correctly. I have never met Marconus, but he had a reputation of being one of the worst of the lot. And for slavers that is saying something.

I had continued to observe the camp from My concealed position overlooking it. I had watched as another group of Goblins had brought in a sting of slaves of their own. These slaves had been olive skinned and dark haired. Likely taken from one of many small villas that supplied Rome with food and meat.

With the help of the glass, I could not be sure but it appeared that they had been gathering women from all the known lands to be brought her as slaves. Marconus plan was brilliant, collect slaves from all the settled regions then sell the women of one to their rivals.

What I could not understand is why the goblins were working with him. What did he have that they wanted?
