Matching carpet and curtains. A Cattle Mustering Helicopter at Dajarra Dam.The Road to Winton.
The road to Boulia. This and the above photograph were taken at Cawnpore Lookout. 120 million years ago, this was the Eromanga Sea. It is one of the most fossil rich areas in Australia.
Not seen very often in the Australian Bush. American Bison at the cattle station opposite the Quamby Pub.
It's all about light. Out and about at dawn in Normanton. I'm standing in one of the very shallow flood branches of the Norman River. In the second photo, there are Pretty Face Wallabies.
Old and new. Public Aboriginal art at Normanton.
When you know your local butcher is serious. Signs outside the local butcher shop at Karumba.
and then there's colour. Gum leaves at Karumba.
An argument about precedence is resolved. A crow (really a raven), a little eagle and a Black Kite arguing about who has rights to the road kill. The Raven won.
