The library was quiet, the only sound the soft rustling of pages and the occasional creak of the old wooden floors. kemmie found solace in this solitude, her mind focused on the task at hand. The magical symbols and incantations within the book began to make sense, each page unlocking a new layer of understanding.

As she delved deeper into the text, kemmie couldn't help but think back to the many nights she had spent in this spot, listening to her father as he read from one such book as this one.
Of course, she didn't know then how that simple action would shape her own quest, which she was undergoing now. She had to smile at the reflection, really. She could almost see him sitting in that overstuffed chair, a cup of coffee in hand, as he poured his attention over those aged books. She wished he was here now just to grill him a little concerning this particular text she was reading. smirking to herself, she read on.

She read with rapt attention, trying to absorb every word and commit the information to memory.
