so as you can see it lists out the name of the combatant, the health on average, along with an image of the combatant, with a base attack, ac and an initiativebonus. Im going to see what happens if I do a random stat roll per every round and see what that does along with the initiative bonus but i may just look up agian the bonuses depending on class

Where conflict is part of the in character drama and story then absolutely, it should be resolved in character through the RP. Unfortunately though sometimes things do get to the point where they become - to quote the topic - an 'OOC dispute', perhaps because someone has inserted themselves uninvited into a RP situation where they weren't particularly welcome, or a bit of God Moding has gone on (or a combination of both). In these cases an IC resolution becomes less likely.If it does get to that point where it has become an OOC dispute then every player should have an equal voice in resolving it, regardless of the role they are playing. I think most of us do this for fun. If someone is 'forced' into a situation that they don't want to be part of and then told 'too bad you don't get a say because of the character type that you are playing' the RP can quickly stop being fun. at which point the player may well decide to simply stop playing. And then people comment about Jag not being as active as it used to be, or why some play is being done in private to control access. You can't play without player consent.
