Impressive. Because seriously, Leo-juice??Another laugh, unable to help it. "It's really good. I'm going to need to go check it out."
They are content to let others clean up for the moment, finishing their piece of cake.
A quiet laugh. "It's a bloody miracle, Holly. I was drunk, deeply morose, and singing songs of heartbreak, and she decided, yeah, that's a person I want to know!"
Holly failed to keep a straight face, covering her lips so she didn't spew cake with the laugh that erupted forth."Yes, Leo-Juice! Hey, wish I could take credit for the cake, there's a place downtown, I think Sinful Sweets? Rush-ordered, head baker's named Chiffon or Fawnie, isn't that the cutest thing you've ever heard?"
Well, it was a bit dark and much of the party had dispersed back home, and Holly looked around as a few of her friends hung around to help clean up so they weren't leaving a mess on the beach, an effort that Holly started to join in.
Evidently, though, this was a thing they did with some regularity given how easy and efficient it was for everyone to pack up. Tyler's party-bus had compartments along its flanks, boxes on boxes and slide in through the back hatch.
"I like her, Talia. It's actually so cute that you met a beautiful nanny at a karaoke bar, babe…"

She gave a slow roll of her eyes at the waggle. No. She's not going there.She's cute sure, but not V's type. Yeah, she's got a type these days. She's been leaning toward women that are a bit older than her. Or at least close to her age.

She had a fight to get to, but she didn't say that. You know how she is. She rarely gives up much of anything about herself.
She's been staggering her fights. Making sure bruises heal and doing a hell of a lot better on not blocking with her face. If she did well then it's make up for a few days and she hates make up.
"See you around. Next time." she tapped her phone again. So that you knew to use it, instead of a megaphone or a microphone or screaming her name across the streets.
Hell, if someone's going to scream her name there are much better ways to do it. Ways she can help with.
She walked away from the party and took off down the beach again in a quick sprint toward the parking lot where her motorcycle was parked.
"And even then, he's not unilaterally doing you a favor, either. Being able to tap a talent of your caliber to extract the Leo-Juice and bring it to mass market? Okay maybe that makes it sound too cold-blooded and Capitalist but you can really contribute and amplify your existing talent," her brow creased serious as she hovered with her cake, ditzy and clueless that the black icing was not flattering her teeth. "It's an opportunity that I personally think would be good to follow up on, is all…"Before she could continue on, though, she once again squeaked as you leaned in for a kiss and stamped some of that pretty color to her cheek.
"I asked for extra sprinkles just so there's some deniability in case it was too much, but I'm delighted to hear you appreciate it!"
Holly's beaming, involuntary smile transferred toward V. Vander as she wished you a happy birthday again.
"It was good to see you, V! Have a safe trip back home!"

A huff of a laugh at that. "That about sums it up, yeah."Life has been, well, a bitch lately.
But yeah, safer not to go there.
"Oh, hey, nice to meet you too. And thanks," A warm smile offered.
"Life's a bitch, and then you die." her expression remained still but those intense blues gave away that bit of humor behind the line.Your girl was pretty yes, but she'd still not go there.
All she knows is that Holly introduced Talia as dating you.She doesn't ask , because it's no one's business but yours and Talia's. These days she's been too busy to get out much.
Speaking of her phone started to beep. An alarm she set to remind her of a prior engagement she has tonight."Shit." she lost track of the time and tapped the phone screen to turn it off.
"I've got to go. Nice to meet you and again. Happy Birthday."
A wry smile. "Yeah, I guess he did. It won't hurt to talk to him, and like, I can learn so much from him, y'know?"He might need a bit of gassing up.
"Yeah, I said I need to make sure I can take care of plants consistently first. But no, I'm not allergic."
Now that it is quieter, the colours register, and a delighted smile forms. Leaning in to press a kiss to your cheek.
"You did the colours of the flag!"

Stretches out her legs, and leans back to watch the night sky arc overhead.
Well technically, Holly didn't know for certain if Talia was also Poly or if she was just interested in Leo Sterling singularly! But yeah, they can't communicate psychically.If anything, though, Holly believed that she caught a look, whether she was mistaken or not, and she offered a waggle of her eyebrow in response.
As she did, though, her gaze turned back to Leo Sterling. "Well don't let me make promises on his behalf, but knowing how Ouroboros works and how Dylan sounded excited about adding accolades to the label's collection? I sincerely think there's a good chance he works with you — if you're brave enough to take his hand?"
OKAY, so she was gassing Leo up a bit.
"Oooh, a puppy? Oh yeah I guess if you were allergic you'd have reacted to being over at my mom's house."
Holly sat with her cake, though, enjoying the visual treat of the galaxy swirl icing on the otherwise glossy black space-themed top.

He blinks. "No, I love dogs, I'm good with them. I think Talia is, she joked about getting me a puppy?"
