He shakes his head"Not at all. Celebrate your talents. If I needed to, I could probably record all of the music for an album, though I really don't feel that comfortable behind a drum kit. That versatility kept me employed for many years out in Hollywood, doing session work."
Probably while the group of you were in early elementary school, part of The Insanity's performance was him and Rachel Caine switching spots on stage so she could sing and play guitar. And he would do his best behind the kit.
The two of you told her the same story from different perspectives, earning a conspiratorial grin from her."Oooh, tricked him? Leo going into public to blast mournful ballads at the karaoke bar is a mood. Anyone catch a clip of it somewhere? Please tell me it's online to—"
The percussive impact of Talia's hand against your ass made her jump, jaw dropped in amusement.
"Sheeeeeeeeeeesh!"
Where was her drink again? Holly took a sip and tried to find her place again as she was trying to continue hyping up Leo Sterling to Dylan Bode.
"Triple threat for certain! They're gonna be the next Hugh Jackman. How do you think you'll look with sideburns, Leo? Metal claws?"
sits up and sipes the cell down as i try to do daily, folds the blankets, grabs some refreshments and leans back on the rear wall
thank You for the compliment Miss PM............
A brief dip of eyes down to your lips at that moue, before finding their way back up to yours a bit sheepishly."Deeply glad you like both, I have to admit."
A surprised laugh at the swat, and a smile that is entirely too innocent.
"What? You look good!"
And they're just going to try not to blush in front of Dylan Bode, now, thanks to both you and Holly Blanc.
"Your version is kinder than mine, but you definitely didn't need to trick me into talking to you."
... just to get him doing something other than singing sad musical theatre at a bar. Which you did!

While they manage not to say it, their look clearly conveys a curiousity around what you've been telling about. A touch of surprise, but their smile warm.Singing is an appropriate topic, really, smile distinctly sheepish.
"Karaoke. I sang one too many heartbreak songs, and she cut me off" Tone light, like the fact they had sang enough heartbreaking songs at a karaoke bar to be noteworthy is no big thing.
Dylan Bode -
"I do. Is it bragging if I say I am?"
It feels like bragging.
Aww... I kind of liked it.A momentary moue before she curves a playful grin up at you.
I like this too though.
That dark head starts to nod and then you get to the end of your statement and she swats you on the backside.
Holly Blanc
At the way you emphasize the pronoun they for Leo, she blinks, turning to smile at Leo briefly, but she grins as you mention their singing ability.
It'll bring you to tears.
Offered to Dylan Bode, but the underlying joke beneath her genuine compliment is all for Leo Sterling.
Who she looks to when Holly asks how they met.
I caught Leo here singing their heart out at karaoke. Absolutely gorgeous, but the song choices didn't match the crowd. So, I cut him off and tricked him into talking to me.
Moving back and forth between pronouns is an intentional choice. After all, Leo said he/they specifically when they met.

Listening as Holly explains who you are and he was sure she'd told him, plus there was the story in the paper from a bit ago. He'd barely held onto that while his life sort of hit a low point lately, but was now digging out of the trench he'd been in."Actor and singer? Damn, do you dance? Could call you a triple threat right?"
