Yes. She had earbuds in. Music cycling through her power workout playlist with a bit of the club music she'd liked and downloaded thrown in too. If it had a good beat she had it running through her playlist. So she had no idea about the pop music blaring out from the mini party.

She'd emptied her water bottle a few miles down the beach. She'd opted to pick up a bottle here and there from various vendors along the way. There really was no place for her to stash a water bottle on her person. She had a pair of black biking/running shorts on that went from just below her navel showing off the V lines that dipped into the waistband. Running shoes and a matching black sports bra, with a band around her upper bicep that had a pocket for her phone a little cash and air pods when she wasn't wearing them.

She hadn't seen your party but her eyes had caught another vendor selling water and she decided to slow and move toward the vendor to purchase one.

Laughter spills from her as you say you like politicians.

There's no need to convince me. I don't know that even I am really into diplomacy, though I know more foreign diplomats than politicians.

Mostly, she's just the girl making sure to round up the children and get them to bed.

There was a medium-sized beach party. Tyler's party bus with the roof-mounted speaker continued with the pop music, kinda hard to miss given the rainbow colors.

And the Edgewater food trucks with their own colorful arrangements, though a few of them shuttered because they ran out of food for the evening.

The group of them were chatting under a now-completely-unnecessary giant umbrella, so Fred and Jeff were dismantling it.

Holly hadn't seen Schitt's Creek yet, even though everyone and their mom has been telling her she Needs to see it. It's in the queue!

"Oh you'd be surprised how much of it is just a matter of holding a title and collecting 'compensation' for a shocking little amount of actual economic value. The neoliberal dream, am I right?"

Clearly, she didn't think she deserved anything, but she wasn't about to launch into existential crisis about first-world guilt.

Dylan Bode earned a sincere smile back, like… that was rare from Holly just in principle. One of the fakest people in The City actually happy for someone? Especially a grieving someone getting back to his feet? Between Dylan and Leo, they needed the affirmation and healing and she offered the rockstar a squeeze of his shoulder.

She glanced between him and the other healing human Leo Sterling who complained Holly was underselling, perhaps just flatteringly as Leo looked over the atch. "No seriously, Leo is a superhero—OH speaking of which! OH my god what are the chances?!"

Unaware that V. Vander's ears were plugged with earbuds, she tried to shout out at the pink-haired jogger.

"Oh my god that's her, Leo! That's the lesbian superhero!"
