*laughs*. They have to clean out the filters at work for the zebra muscles. They're an invasive filter fish brought in by the ships. And for awhile they were terrible. But they have cleaned up lake Erie in ways no one anticipated. Still, they clog up filters all along the lake. So once a year they have to go in, clean out muscles and then treat the area with chemicals to kill them back for awhile. Clamacide. *Laughs*. I didn't even know it was a thing! But, they're going to try these new copper grates, that supposedly deter muscles from clinging. That should prevent a clamacide next year. In theory. *Laughs*.

Though it wasn't life threatening work in here, unlike the Med Center, he was attuned to relieving as much pain as possible. Some components wore down over time.
