"Is anyone out there...?"

Called out into the infinite void.

Slipping back into the shadows. Waiting. Watching.

Ordering another drink. He thought He saw a girl re-enter that piqued His interest but when He turned around, there was no one there. Must be an off night.

In the shadows, unmoving. Dark eyes slowly scanning the decadent alley. It's quiet. Not even a mouse. And, yet. There is someone there. He knows. Just have to wait. Patience, as they say, is a virtue.

And it pays off. He finally hears the faint tap, tap, tap of the heels against the pavement. Eyes narrowing, spotting the scantily dressed girl as she rises from behind a dumpster, wipes her chin, and quickly makes her way down the alley way.

Eyes following her. Then following her.

Taking a sip of His whiskey as He looks over at the selection of the night. Trying to see if any of the working whores catch His interest.

The thud of boots, walking away, down the alleyway, behind her,
as she peeks around the corner of a dumpster, making sure the alley is clear up ahead of her. It appears to be, heels tap,tap,tap against the pavement as she rises from her knees,
to those heels..and steps out from behind the dumpster..licking her lips, and wiping her chin,with the back of her hand, then smoothing her little dress down, as she steps forward, with a sway in her hips, as her heels click down the dark alley way.

brushing her fingers through her long dark hair, fluffing the bounce back into it..as she makes her way..

home.
