He takes a second to move across the room and drop into a chair. He doesn't like turning away people. He does like interaction. But he's been around this city long enough to tell the people that actually need help from the ones that don't. This one wanted a game he wasn't going to play. The sympathy doesn't even register for him. He's not sorry to see this one go. It just makes him think of Sara. Perhaps the dispassion was because he's been working double shifts like he used to again, or maybe he's just got that one pegged for what it was. Not a good fit for his clinic.
