Axolotls are actually solitary creatures. They are better off alone, as they can be cannibalistic. Also, they aren’t easy to take care of. You have to keep the tank immaculately clean. And their food is rather expensive. I wanted them myself, but I already have two cats and a beagle, and they are expensive. Basically, I’m already at my responsible pet parent limit. 😊

thinking to myself how awful it must be to spend
an eternity here

watching to see if it’s pretty head peeks out
