It has been an... Interesting couple of weeks. In the ongoing mess of his relationship with Holly, several things had come to light:

She was dating Leo Sterling now, as well. And spending a lot of time around him, and therefore, less time around your boy and mine, Brixton Walsh. This was doing some psychic damage to Brix's emotional well-being. He truly did care for Holly. His Ride or die. He had killed for her, scarred for her, and wrapped up his entire valuation as a member of society in her money, to assume the role of queenpin of Edgewater. So simply cutting her off wasn't an option.

Dax had been scarce, except for depositing a mixed-race baby doll in his room in a baby bascinet that looked frighteningly like him. Eerily like him. Spittin' image. This sat in the back of Brix's mind at all times, because the two of them had agreed that they couldn't be having a child at this time. And in Brix's mind, ever.

With his two sources of emotional and physical intimacy occupied, Brix had told Holly he'd started an app. She seemed... Fine with it.
