He stood at the counter reading the menu as a young girl, college-aged he figured with light brown hair waited with a smile for him to order. He looked over his shoulder when Fox entered and Zhaire smiled himself and felt his face warm a little. Thankful for the dark complexion now.

He nodded to her handler and told him he would bring her back to the center either tomorrow night or in a few more days, and the man left them. He wouldn't decline a kiss, but instead kissed the side of her cheek instead.

"Hi, Fox. I'm glad you were available," he said and pointed to the menu. "I can't figure out what I want to get for ice cream. I think I'll have a vanilla shake. Whipped cream and a cherry. What about you?"
