He's diverted the power flow issue, at least for the moment - or a few moments. Enough moments, hopefully.

You can't see his face, so no way to see how utterly, completely focused he is, and how he is not watching the real world at all. Keeping Kurtz up and running is not leaving any space for spacial awareness.

He can divert his attention if necesssary, but let's hope it isn't necessary. As is, when you lay the body down he stumbles into a kneel - he's plugged in, and the weight shift took him with it.

Yeah, if anything comes for him in meatspace, he's absolutely screwed. All his attention is tied up in keeping Kurtz from flatlining, one way or another.

A sound that is part grumble, part grow as he tracks down the source of the power drain. "Rebooting solves so many things, but no turning it off and on again, thanks."

Yes, he's talking out loud. What? Usually no one's there to hear him.

No time for finesse here, as he frantically shifts around signals, aborting the reboot attempt with a user-override, it will stop the shutdown - but it's going to take more time to manually put Kurtz into safe-mode.

User-override, then safe-mode - they need the system to stop trying to repair itself.
