When old friends seem to just "walk away."

Not every ignored email will be directly related to something ya did. When ya ask, ya may find out that his mood or behavior change has nothin' to do with ya at all.

By talkin' to him about it, you're giving' is one, but perhaps somethin' else is goin' on in his life and he needs space ... not just from you but from others as well.

Give him space and, when he's ready, he may open up and need you to lean on as a friend. Know that ya did ya job as a friend by reachin' out and checkin' in. The next step is all up to him.

She was a bit surprised that the first thing you mentioned was Anderson. That scarred brow ticked up as she lifted her cup for a sip and lowered it slowly.

You probably expected her to say something, or react a certain way, but she didn't. It sounded like you had something more to say so she stayed quiet. Sipped her coffee and waited for you to continue, if you were going to.

As for Anderson. The guy was a pain in the ass. All she knew was someone had killed him she didn't get details nor did she ask for them.

People die every day. She's not shocked about it, but there are very few that would probably get any sort of reaction out of her.
