His dark eyes remained on you, tracking your movements through the crowded bar. He didn't rush, or encourage you to pick up your step. One thing he had learned in all his time was patience. In fact, the anticipation made things all the more interesting, most of the time. "

When you arrived, he looked up. Older than you, by at least five years. But, he was still a handsome man, with a strong square jaw covered by a neat, short beard. Mostly black, but peppered with some bits of grey. Just like his hair, kept short and tidy.
