Just white-knuckling it all the way away from the ill-fated dinner, with MILLIE's riddled with bruises, some breadcrumbs and one annoying directive and additional mysteries unanswered and were you checking her out?!

She entered the… location that could generously be called a Future-Domicile somewhere in Luxor Heights, in a certain energy, like she was jogging in place, like she was too spun-up to relax no matter how the exhaustion compelled her to drop herself inert into some surface or another.

"Like do I figure she fucks off, it's an empty threat? If I take her at her word, she was watching me like some kinda fuckin' Corpo-ninja and didn't off me in my sleep, she could in theory. You think she knows about this place? You think she only passed the message along to be polite, but she's not actually invested in an outcome? As she paced, she incidentally caught a reflection of herself and gasped, lurching toward a jagged fraction of a reflective pane of glass to examine the image that gawked back. She'd stopped bleeding remarkably fast, but she still painted a ghastly picture.

"…I'm so sorry you're getting dragged into this, I… ah fuck, look what she did to ya…"

He laughed and started walking on into the aquarium deeper now.

There was that rush of tingles and excitment that set those butterflies fluttering as your hand took mine.
I felt myself relax more.
Yes we are growing closer, but there is still so much to learn and see when we are out in public.
