I read a fair amount of dystopian/post-apocalyptic books. Some are far-fetched, many are believable. This is one of the most chilling, believable books I have ever read. While it is a book of fiction, it is based on facts and interviews of those government officials, military officials and scientists, who are in the know.

I won't give away the details, but simply, one country pushes the button. The country under attack pushes their button. Another country thinking they are under attack, push theirs and the dominos fall leading to worldwide armageddon. It is easy to believe the uncertainty and paranoia of those in charge and the chaos that can ensue as decisions need to be made within minutes.

This book is not for the faint of heart. Recommended.
