They saw the city of Kasra from a distance shimmering in the midday heat and spurred the beast on needing to reach the city so that the first leg of their journey was complete. They rode slowly into the city his gaze searching the shops for a suitable supply store. He found one relatively easily as Kasra was on the Lower Fayeen River and a staging point for the Northern Silk Road. Many caravans passed through here heading North. He slipped from the beast hauling the little slave girl down, took a length of rope from the saddle, and quickly looped it around her neck leaving an extended piece where it would act as a leash. He led both the big brown and the slave girl towards a water trough leaving the kaiila to drink after he had tied it to the post then he gave a light tug on the leash and led the girl off to the store.

Within the store he greeted the store owner and then turned to the girl, "look for what we will need on the road to Tor, we dont have much coin so we can take only what is necessary." He slipped the leash over her shoulder allowing it to trail down her back allowing her the freedom to roam within the store. The rope collar and leash was more for show making others aware that she was with him and belonged to him. They were not on the road any longer so any bare neck would quickly be snapped up especially one as pretty as she.
