Good day for the DOW, I am guessing the realization is Trump will win and businesses can expect more business friendly economic policies down the road
Better corp tax rates
reduction of bullshit regulations

Tech stocks starting to shed some as well, but not as bad (yet) as the tech bubble burst back in the day.

On the flipside, the real estate market is in a free fall - totally predictable for certain markets.

People think the rates are high, however, only since the free money wave of the 21st century.

Even if the rates were trimmed a 1/4 point - or so - I doubt the perception would change.

The issue is over valuation in some markets, cheap rates spurred uncontrolled building in markets unable to sustain growth, the slow down of movement after people left marxist lockdown states to other locations, and of course certain markets (FL, CAL) getting hammered by Insurance costs. ( ican attest)

We shall see what happens - The Job market is cooling, inflation is slowing, but real spending power is still reduced by 21% since late 2021 -

A deflationary economic downturn would be disaster, but is it needed??
