Hello, there, pretty…

We live near a river that is floated a LOT, guided tours down it in inflatable rafts, there are some decent rapids. Eldest son used to guide on the river, knows where people are most likely to fall out of the raft, and the section known as the "swimmers stretch" where on hot days many of the rafters go swimming. Well, since the 4th of July, he's found six cell phones, and we've already returned five. It's interesting, and people are tickled to get them back.

Youngest son majored in computer science in college, and with Iphones its hard to track the folks if they have not set up their emergency contacts, anyway, he puts the phone in DFU mode for Diagnostic Format Upgrade, I think, anyway, then that pings the person and they get the location of the Central Office of the School system, anyway, a woman from Kentucky was crying, said she had all her pictures on it. Woman from Georgia was pumped too. It tickles me to hear the good stories, and glad the boys are doing right.
