---adjusts time to the weeeeeee hours of the morning---One beautiful thing to come from the post-Covid era is that you can have pretty much anything delivered. Food, both groceries and takeout, necessities, not-at-all-necessities, anything you could possibly want. Which has allowed her to not leave the apartment since opening night of the play.
While perhaps she should've been at performances, if only for morale, but... she couldn't. There's no way she could even see Leo and Holly together, let alone watch them fall for each other over and over every day.
So, she didn't. Instead, she'd spent most of the past couple of weeks in bed. There were definitely some concerning stretches there, but... clearly, she's alive and out of the apartment now.
Even clean and dressed. Even in the middle of the night, it was still pretty hot and sticky outside, so she'd pulled up her hair and slipped into a thin, short, flowy dress, essentially made of a black semi-sheer layer and a thin, opaque later beneath, the color of her skin.
Though it had been a bit of a walk, she'd traveled here on foot, intent on not being in any state to drive herself home. There'd been enough of a breeze that it hadn't been too uncomfortable, and being outside had felt good to her body, even if she'd stressed about running into Leo or Holly, despite the hour.
Now she was settled at the bar, sipping at her third martini. The first two had been downed in quick swallows. While she'd skimmed the menu for the first choice, then she'd given her drinking fate over to the bartender.
