She chuckles and brings her glass up to her lips to take another sip. She shares his pretzel bowl since she moved seats.

"You were stood up too? Seems to be the way of the evening, my friend left me hanging as well. It was even her idea. I was happy to curl up in my porch swing with a drink and a book. But it isn't all bad. Pleasure to meet you. I'm Jane."

She tips her tumbler at him then finishes it off and nods for Sean to bring her another.
