OK, back from the gym with a chance to cool off. I'm ranting, and I don't need to rant. It's not necessary.

First...thank you to those of you who posted to me about Ray and Jackie. I'll see Ray on Sunday. Also, for those who care or believe in the efficacy of prayer, I've raised them both in prayer at church a couple of times.

I deleted my top-level cork posts for a reason, which isn't important here, but I'm not throwing a hissy fit about something. There's a reason.

...and finally, understand that it's very frustrating to take a great deal of care to write something which I'm aware could be perceived as controversial, put a lot of thought and effort into it, only to have it completely misunderstood by a significant proportion of the readers. Chalk up my frustration and earlier rants to that.
