He died in 1957 2 years after I was born
My family was in greenwood Nova Scotia my father was in the RCAF airforce at the time
We were moving to Comox British Columbia to his next posting airforce base
We were going to visit him on the way he lived in cabbage town in Toronto but had just died 2 days before we arrived
Just in time for the funeral
I never got to meet him
He had just turned 91
