IRIDIA's attention wavered between Kendo, Renner, and Echo Fenix.

If he looked to her for her vibe, IRIDIA seemed apprehensive. It wasn't for a more relatable reason — her data was entangled across a basket of broken mirrors, to such an extent that she wouldn't even be able to cleanly sequester what is and isn't relevant to Renner's request in the first place, so she didn't count herself as among those who could collect the bonus.

He stood at the counter reading the menu as a young girl, college-aged he figured with light brown hair waited with a smile for him to order. He looked over his shoulder when Fox entered and Zhaire smiled himself and felt his face warm a little. Thankful for the dark complexion now.

He nodded to her handler and told him he would bring her back to the center either tomorrow night or in a few more days, and the man left them. He wouldn't decline a kiss, but instead kissed the side of her cheek instead.

"Hi, Fox. I'm glad you were available," he said and pointed to the menu. "I can't figure out what I want to get for ice cream. I think I'll have a vanilla shake. Whipped cream and a cherry. What about you?"
