And there it is.

The shot strikes the engine block. Shorting it out and killing their forward momentum. Echo keeps gunning the throttle, desperately hoping for some sort of magic to kick in and keep things functional.

And when none appears, his hand tools extend and he reaches down to try and repair the damage on his own while the bike is still moving forward on sheer momentum.

That shift forward as he tries to fix the bike while it's in motion is what seals it...

Haven slides off the side of the motorcycle...

Echo cries out in a panic and sits up straight when he feels the slip, reaching out to grab for her.

But he leans too far to try and grab her...and pulls the bike over with him...

The end result is Haven's limp body rolling side over side a few times before coming to rest on her back on the cracked and torn asphalt. Eyes closed. Bio-monitor read-outs were in the orange.

Echo slammed himself and the side of the bike to the ground and skidded to a sparking halt about 50 feet away from Haven down the road.

His leg was trapped beneath the motorcycle and he was scrambling to get free of it. Eyes wide and furious when he finally sees you.

He rode by the front of the cabin and turned the horse towards the back and the barn came into view

He would stop the horse just outside the barn door the other horses were already in their stalls. He got down and reached up helping you down. He would kiss your lips softly and then lead his horse inside, so he could ready him for the night.

"These are some of my horses if you like we can find one for you. I am sure your horse is among them."
