Geez, good luck, I hear you about being flat of your back, and yeah, glad the light at end of tunnel ain't a train, damn right!

Apartment
Last night, when they'd exited the Uber and headed to your apartment, she'd fed you some of the surprisingly large amount of baked goods in your apartment, challenged you to a water-drinking contest before bed, and encouraged ibuprofen. She'd positioned water bottles on both bedside tables as well. What kind of new friend would she be if she didn't attempt to limit your hangover?

While she'd changed into the pajamas you'd offered, even the drawstring on the waist wasn't really going to keep the bottoms on overnight, so she'd abandoned them once they got into bed. But the top was meant for your height, not hers, which meant that it covered her behind anyway.

Once they'd tucked in, neither one of them had stayed awake long. During the night, her natural inclination toward not-warm-enough had her continually shifting to tuck in against you. Enough so that she'd stirred partially awake when you'd tossed your shirt from the bed, then settled in closer.

Used to waking up for the kids, she'd woken a couple of hours ago and had gingerly slipped from the bed and stealthily cleaned your apartment up a bit. Nothing major, just picking up things and wiping down the surfaces.

A little bit ago, she'd brought over some muffins from your baked goods stash and some more ibuprofen, which were now on your bedside table. Then she'd gently eased back under the covers and snuggled in against your side, turned onto her own side, her arm reached across you to stroke lazily at your arm, cheek on your shoulder.

Damn, you're gorgeous. Though she'd seen it last night, seeing it in the light of day was... something else. Yes, even asleep. But, she is trying to wake you, if only a bit. It won't be terribly long before she has to head to work.
