You can, most definitely, get alcohol delivered. Not to worry, she can educate you. Which means that this trip isn't about making as much space as possible between her and sobriety. Or, well, isn't solely about it.

With her back to the door, she doesn't notice you coming in or the way you seem to part the waters as you head toward the bar. Just that, suddenly, there's someone new next to her. You are not the quiet, older woman she'd sat down next to all of twenty minutes ago. Not even close.

You are, however, much nicer to look at, if you ask her. A slight turn of her head has her looking over at you. A look that lasts longer than is entirely necessary. Is it the fact that your order was a more direct version of hers? Or something else? It's hard to tell, but if you catch her all-but-staring, you'll earn yourself a quirked grin, one that doesn't quite reach those crystal blue eyes, something missing there. Though, it seems to be the same way your expression is hiding something, but not completely, not all that well. Then again, it's very late and they're both drinking with intent.

At that crooked smile and the way it warms eyes that are a lighter mirror of her own, hers spreads a little, softens a little. A soft hum of amusement as you say you're out of practice.

Lightly teased. But she gives a nod at your offer and the bartender moves to pour your tequila and a surprise martini for her. This one comes out with layers of soft pink and golden yellow. Something gives a little flutter in her chest at the tone of your voice, the underlayer of rumble in it. Whilst sipping at her last martini, she looks you over in a way that is equal parts assessment and admiration. There's something... nearly dangerous about you, but also... not. She can't quite place it. Usually, she's pretty adept at reading people.
