I still haven't forgotten how American Airlines screwed me in 2014. I had scheduled a trip to Ohio for my Niece's wedding several months earlier, then had to change the schedule at the last minute to go to New Mexico for Yvonne's step father's funeral. Not only would they not give me a bereavement price, they told me my original ticket to Ohio was good for a year, but neglected to tell me it was good for a year from the date of purchase. Then when I missed the use-by date because I thought I had several more months before it expired, they wouldn't refund my $850.
